Who We Are

Church family that encourages and cares, and a place of belonging in a world of change.

St. John is a member of the United Church of Christ and we are know as the "Still Speaking" church, believing that "We do not place a period where God has placed a comma." We believe that the Bible is the word of God, but not the final word and that through all of us, God is still bringing new truths to our lives. We believe that all people and creation belong to God and so we treat all with respect and love. That "No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here" and that we are stewards of the earth and we promote green lives through recycling and preserving the gifts God has given us. We are a church of mission caring for others in our community and world as Christ has the example for us. We, the people, are the church and it is there we focus on our ministry to help one another to love and grow in Faith.
